what does “being a vessel” mean to you? This piece is beautiful to me.

The idea that we are a part of something bigger…that life is meant to be experienced, and no one size fits all. There are so many ways to think about things. There are so many ways to live and experience things. Life is extremely interesting for me, and it drives my passion. For a long time, I thought I needed to put a label on or define my purpose because I saw so many other people follow their alignment in that way.

I have found my authentic self when I realized that all I have to do is BE. ME. Can’t think too hard about it honestly. The more you trust yourself; the more it works. It takes practice and awareness at first and then it becomes normal. I had so much hurt in me at one point and my writing was heavy. I try to tap back into it, now that I have confidence to put it on a page, but I am not that person anymore and this excites me. It is confirmation that I have taken steps to heal. The hurt was spilling out of me at a point and now I can hardly pull it out of me anymore. I can empathize with others because of it though. It has helped me be able to be more fluid with life. The experiences were a part of becoming a vessel. We are all vessels for each other to be able to live and grow through. How could it not all be connected??? Whoever said “live, laugh, love” was fuckin right.
