long time no see

Heyyyy lmao, time to yap
I haven't done a 'daily' post in a minute. I've been doing a lot of reflecting in my posts but today I got some stuff to catch you guys up on.

These past few days I got to talk a lot with my family, best friends, and therapist. The recurring theme has been my tendency to stay 'on'-constantly engaged in something productive. I've realized that I want to be more mindful of this and create more space for stillness.

I naturally default to doing, while I set aside time each day to meditate and be still.

I want stillness to become more of my natural state rather than something I schedule. I think a big part of it is also learning to go easy on myself.
So that's what I have been practicing since the last time we talked.
As time goes on, I hope these practices reflect in my writing and offer even more insight to share!
Enough with the big topics...
Outside of the reflection, things have been routine.
We found a new viewpoint and snapped some pics.
I love getting out for a bit and exploring the city whenever we can.

The city has so much to offer, we are just getting started.
After living in so many places, I am realizing that no place is inherently better than another. They all have their own perks.
As time goes on, you start to understand why everything is the way it is, and you develop a respect for it.
Just treasuring the journey right now. We are continuing to stay hopeful. Knowing the best thing we can do is spread love!

Continue to cultivate and pour into yourself and your people, understand that that is the most powerful thing you can do.

“Silence. Stillness.
To give the soul a chance to attend to its own affairs at its own level.”
