I love a reason to celebrate, dress up, and express myself.
Well let’s catch up— I went to Mexico!
I’ve made it a priority to reconnect with all of my family and learn more about my roots these past few years.
It was my abuelas 87th birthday celebration, a huge reason to make the trip happen in the middle of the semester.

I didn’t take many pictures but enough to capture the feeling in time.
I haven’t updated here all month and it’s because I feel like there’s people out there with not good intentions reading my stuff/keeping up with me.
Like I really think there’s people out here being nosey and not in a cute way how I naively thought it would be when I started this.
I don’t like giving energy to things in that realm so I’m hoping by being transparent about it now, it will mitigate some of that.
I sat with that emotion for a while and after being with my family I’ve been re-energized with life and confidence.
I love putting energy and inspiration out there I gotta keep going~

In my last post I said I started a 30 day yoga series but I ended up falling off when I traveled.
I’m starting again tomorrow, we’ll see how far I get this time.
Still working along this semester, feeling grateful I get to study and do what I love.
